The Flagg Township Assessor’s Office is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to fill a part-time Field Inspector position to assist with property data collection. This position generally runs April through late October, weather permitting and involves working outdoors requiring walking, standing and measuring properties in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Taking exterior photographs of residential and commercial properties and uploading them into the computer system
- Measuring structures and verifying property characteristics to update property record cards in accordance with state regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
